Climate Issue
Turning Theory into practice
TILLT offers fun-filled and reflective creative methods that support cross-sectoral development work on climate issues. An artist-driven process where the artist can facilitate working groups to reach further and contribute their own approach and solution-focused mindset.
WHY?
To cope with climate change, we need to work cross-sectorally and multifunctionally where biodiversity and ecosystem services are integrated. Artistic attitudes here can help stimulate creativity and strengthen the motivation to collaborate between people and between industries and professions. Artists can contribute to both functional, aesthetic and social values that make our cities more comfortable and smart to live.
what does tillt do?
TILLT's climate project contributes to the current development in Västra Götaland, Sweden and in Europe, where we strive to find new multifunctional solutions for climate adaptation, such as storm water and rainfall management around properties in our cities.
TILLT is currently a part of the international project Cultural Adaptations where we work with artists and cultural organizations on climate adaptation. Here we collaborate with the City of Gothenburg.
Previously, we have, among other things, implemented the environmental projects Art / Mosphere and Norðr arte | mosphaera.
Examples of our climate projects can be found here.
