Current project

Chalmers University of Technology, Göteborg/Linda Nordfors

TILLT and Chalmers University of Techolony implement a project in which artist Linda Nordfors had the assignment to challenge the traditional image of industry, both in society at large and among young people.

Today's debate needs to be about the future of industry, which is "clean, close and cool", where creativity and innovation are key-concerns. The question is crucial for both the future jobs of young people and the competitiveness of the industry.

"We are facing a new industrialization of Europe. During the 2020s, small cohorts will make it difficult for Swedish companies to find the right people to work in the industry. Chalmers has been working closely with industry in western Sweden and are well aware of the challenges. The old image, to some extent shaped by artists such as Charlie Chaplin in Modern Times, has changed. How can today's artists create a renewed image of the industry? "
Professor Johan Stahre, Chalmers University of Technology.
